Allen Iverson‘s off-court issues continue to pile on. The former Mrs. AI has requested for the court to punish her ex-hubby for allegedly kidnapping their children.
According to Tawanna Iverson, the All Star point guard picked up their five children, ranging in ages three to 16, in late May for a visit and never returned them to their mother.
TMZ reports, “Tawanna Iverson just filed legal docs, claiming Allen recently asked for permission to take their five kids on a short vacation to Charlotte, NC from May 22nd to May 26th (and Tawanna agreed) but when May 26th rolled around, the children hadn’t been returned.”
Tawanna reportedly arranged an exchange on June 4th at a neutral location but A.I. never showed up. His ex-wife posses sole legal and primary physical custody of their children and has asked the court to force him to return the kids, even suggesting he be thrown into the pen.
This isn’t the first time Tawanna has requested the former Philadelphia 76er be put in jail. Earlier this month, she claimed he owed her $40,000 in child support and that he should be locked up until he pays. – Alley Olivier
