Rapper Lecrae‘s musical prowess has garnered him a distinguishable honor from a certain learning facility in Toronto.
The “All I Need Is You” artist received an honorary doctorate from Canada Christian College on Monday (March 14), joining a list of rappers who’ve garnered this achievement like Chuck D, LL Cool J, and Kanye West.

In an interview with the Toronto Sun, Dr. Charles McVety, president of the college, said Lecrae’s “talents are amazing, as are his achievements. But even more important is his outreach to troubled youth.”
