Can she be more radiant?
Pregnant Emily Blunt positively glowed while attending the L.A. premiere of her new movie, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, on Monday, April 11. The Sicario actress, 33, wowed in a bohemian-inspired Valentino gown.
“It’s very comfortable. It’s not constrictive in any way,” she told Us.
But while she felt “as thin as you could [when you’re pregnant]” in her outfit, it was her beauty that caught our eye. Blunt, who is expecting her second child with husband John Krasinski, smiled for cameras with soft, romantic makeup.
Her lit-from-within dewy complexion was the result of four different makeup products, Laura Mercier celebrity makeup artist Jenn Streicher told Us Weekly. “I wanted everything to look…just very fluid and flowy,” Streicher said.
After prepping her skin with Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream and Goat Milk De-Puffing Eye Balm, Streicher began with Laura Mercier Primer in Radiance (below, far left, $36, sephora.com) — but only in the T-zone “to give her a bit of extra shine,” the L.A.-based makeup artist said. Next, she used the brand’s new Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation in Linen (below, near left, $48, sephora.com) to give the Into the Woods actress an all-over soft, highlighted effect.
Laura Mercier’s Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Shade 3 (above, second from right) added a touch of warmth to Blunt’s face. “I also gently brushed this onto her décolletage and shoulders, because it has a nice illumination to it and leaves the skin looking radiant,” Streicher, who has also worked with Kristyn Ritter and Lily James, explained. The finishing touch was a bit of Dior DiorBlush Vibrant Colour Powder Blush in Lucky Pink (above, far right, $43, sephora.com) to the apples of her cheeks.
While Blunt’s makeup enhanced her flawless skin, her loose chignon was the perfect way to cap off her effortless, bohemian vibe. “Soft and modern was the goal [of her hair],” StriVectin HAIR advisory stylist Ashley Stricher (and sister to Jenn) told Us.
On damp hair, she applied StriVectin HAIR Max Volume Root Lift Spray (below, left, $26, sephora.com) to the roots and Max Volume Bodifying Radiance Serum (below, right, $35, sephora.com). After blowing it out, she secured Blunt’s hair into a low, loose ponytail and wrapped it into a knot, pinning in place.
What do you think of Emily’s radiant red carpet vibes?
